It is less than two weeks until the main festival begins, and I am really looking forward to this year's programme. The Making Space artists have begun their work in the studios and as I am based in ICE, I have already seen Sally Dean at work, and I am looking forward to meeting the other artists later today.
The graduate platform, Moving Out, has been selected, and the artists/ groups performing this year are:
Sarah Butler (and Amy Butler)
Vicki Smith (dance film with Jody Evans performing)
Spiltmilk dance (Adele Wragg, Sarah Devlin and Jenna Hubbard)
YunTing Tsai (dance film with many performers)
Clare Brzezicki and Hannah Venet
During the festival we hope the participants will using the blog page to comment on the various classes, workshops and performances. This may include extracts from people's creative journals, reviews of the performances and descriptions of the workshops. I hope that people will enjoy using this interactive feature, and will find it useful as a way of documenting their experiences of the week.
